While I don't have a 7-08 I have used IMR 4064 in .257 Roberts, .30-06 and .35 Whelen, in my experience it has given me better accuracy than Varget and RL-15. But who knows every rifle is an individual, might as well try Varget and RL-15 as they are good choices. Nevertheless, the 7mm08 retains a number of fans, many having hunted with this cartridge for most of their hunting careers. The 7mm08 is a cartridge that serves both youths and adults well, is mild to shoot in suitable platforms and is ideal for a vast range of applications. Suggested loads: 7mm 08. Barrel length: 22”.
