Pull the hammer to position 2, and spin the cylinder through at least 3 times to ensure it is unloaded, pull the hammer all the way back, and look down the barrel. If alignment is good, you shouldn't have any issues firing the gun. 2. The Ruger Wrangler and Super Wrangler will have better fit and finish compared to the heritage. I’ve had 3 heritage and one of them has a safety issue.I much prefer the Ruger. I can't really comment on accuracy because I am not a good enough shot with them to tell a difference. The fit and finish of the Ruger is much better. Some would argue the ugly safety on the RR is a deal breaker. I am wanting a Tx22 myself but I would still pickup a Wrangler if I didn't have it.
